FREDERICK, Md.—A collection of ceramic vessels used to serve food will be on display Jan. 26 through Feb. 20 in the Whitaker Campus Center Gallery at Hood College.
“Decadence of Display: Ceramics for Dessert” will feature works by Hood’s Ceramic Arts Technical Coordinator Lisa York and ceramic artists she invited from around the country including Elizabeth Coleman, Adrienne Eliades, Kate Maury, Catie Miller, Helen Otterson and Eric Thornton. Several pieces are from the “Küchen” exhibit from York’s ceramics residency in Germany during the summer.
The gallery is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily. The opening reception is scheduled for Jan. 26 from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. For more information, contact Jenna Gianni at email@example.com.
