Thursday, June 7

4-7:30 p.m. Registration ($15 fee)

Overnight accommodations: Thursday-Saturday in Shriner Hall with overflow to Meyran Hall.

Friday, June 8

 9 a.m.-8 p.m.: Registration reopens

12 p.m.-1:30 p.m: Welcome Buffet Drop-In Luncheon ($12/person)

  2-3 p.m.: Special Guest lecturer: Lynn Pasquerella, President of the Association of American Colleges and Universities and former President of Mt. Holyoke College  
Liberal Education, Women’s Leadership and the “Fierce Urgency of Now”

3-3:45 p.m: Campus Walking Tour
Meet at the Information Desk, Whitaker Campus Center  

4-5:30 p.m. Pergola and 1893 Club Reception
Special gathering to honor the 50th reunion class of 1968, those who have already celebrated their 50th reunion and alumni who have included Hood in their estate plans.

6-9 p.m: All Class BBQ Picnic ($22/person, includes beer, wine and live music)

Saturday, June 9

 8 a.m.-6 p.m.: Registration reopens

9:30-10:15 a.m:  Campus Walking Tour  
Meet at the Information Desk, Whitaker Campus Center   

10:30-11:30 a.m.  President’s Update on the College 
Rosenstock Hall, Hodson Auditorium  

12-2 p.m.   All Alumni Luncheon ($17/person, includes champagne) 
Honoring the 50th Reunion class and Alumni Award Recipients. Free for class of 1968 and one guest.
Ronald J. Volpe Athletic Center 

Afternoon Off-Campus Activities
Buses will provide transportation to and from the below off-campus events. Space is limited for each. All buses will leave from the Ronald J. Volpe Athletic Center at 2:30 p.m., and will depart the off-campus location at 4:30 p.m. to return to Hood.

2:30-4:30 p.m.  Walking Tour of Historic Downtown Frederick ($10/person)  

2:30-4:30 p.m. Tour and tasting at McClintock Distillery ($15/person) SOLD OUT

2:30-4:30 p.m.  Private tour and tasting at New Market Plains Vineyard ($20/person)  

3-3:45 p.m.  Campus Walking Tour 
Meet at Information Desk, Whitaker Campus Center 

6-7 p.m.: Class of 1968 Cocktail Reception  
 East Cottage, President’s Home 

6-9 p.m. All Class Maryland-fare Dinner ($30/person, includes beer, wine and live music)

You will be seated in a special section with your classmates

7-10 p.m. Class of 1968 50th Reunion Dinner ($30/person, includes open bar and live music)  
Entrée choices are beef, crab cake or vegetarian.

Sunday, June 10

8-10 a.m.  Traditional Strawberry Breakfast ($17/person)

10:15 a.m.: Chapel Service hosted by the Class of 1968,
People of all faiths are welcome to attend.
